ANNIVERSARY OF ESTABLISHMENT

50 YEARS – A Journey of Overcoming Challenges

Since its establishment, over the past 50 years (June 1, 1976 – June 1, 2026), Ba Ria – Vung Tau Seafood Processing and Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Baseafood), formerly known as Dong Nai Seafood Company, has continuously grown and overcome numerous challenges in both domestic and international markets, navigating through both favorable conditions and fluctuations.

From an annual production output of 1,000 tons of finished products with export turnover of USD 5 million in the 1980s, the company has now achieved 11,000 tons of finished products, with export turnover reaching nearly USD 55 million and total annual revenue of VND 1,350 billion. The workforce has tripled in size, now reaching nearly 2,000 employees. Notably, 60% of the company’s products are value-added, processed, and ready-to-cook or ready-to-eat items, serving demanding markets such as the EU, Japan, and the United States, and are present in over 50 countries and territories worldwide.

These achievements are the result of the determination and unity of the company’s leadership, management, and employees, who have continuously strived for excellence in celebration of major national holidays, local milestones, and company events.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the company’s establishment, the Board of Directors, management, and all employees of Baseafood would like to extend our sincere wishes for good health, happiness, and success to our respected local authorities, industry leaders in fisheries and trade, and our valued domestic and international partners who have supported us in supplying materials and distributing our products over the years. We also look forward to your continued support, cooperation, and partnership in contributing to the company’s future achievements.
